If you run a business, we will guide you through all stages of the legal relationship you have with your workforce from employee interview to employee separation. This includes the drafting of offers of employment, independent contractor agreements, restrictive covenants like confidentiality and non-competition agreements, executive employment agreements, separation agreements, and employment handbooks and other work-related policies. We also advise clients on employment issues in corporate mergers and acquisitions, as well as those involved in financial restructuring. We are well-trained to spot issues with your company’s employment practices including its wage and hour practices, and will guide you through resolving them in advance of a sale of your business, as well as in connection with any complaints or government investigations you are subject to. We also offer anti-discrimination anti-retaliation, and anti-harassment training to companies to comply with state and local legal mandates. For companies who are unionized, we regularly advise clients on the application of the National Labor Relations Act, and assists on charges and other issues that are before the National Labor Relations Board, as well as union arbitrations and collective bargaining negotiations.
